Do I need ChatGPT?
No. Clerk has his own chat built in, so you can start right away. If you already use ChatGPT, Claude, or another chat app, you can connect Clerk there too.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. Tell Clerk what you want in plain words. He takes care of the theme, the code, and the settings.
Will Clerk change my live store without asking?
No. Every change is built on a preview first. Nothing goes live until you look at it and say yes.
What if I don’t like a change?
Ask Clerk to adjust it until it feels right, or say no and nothing changes. If something is already live, you can undo it and your store goes back to how it was.
Can I still edit things myself in Shopify?
Yes. Everything Clerk makes lives in your own Shopify store, so you can see and edit it in Shopify like anything else. If you ever stop using Clerk, his work stays in your store.
Is my store safe with Clerk?
